This workshop is for both Academy students who are currently enrolled in the Enrichment classes, and also for non-Academy students. Workshop is free for the Academy students, it costs $50 for Non Academy Students.

How is this IAAT Workshop organized?

   1) Review of all the concepts for the IAAT Test that consists of 60 items divided evenly into four subtests.
   2) Full Length 40 minutes IAAT Practice Exam.
   3) Review of Incorrect Responses from the IAAT Practice Exam.

  • 2.5 hours

What is covered in the IAAT Workshop?

Review of concepts and problems from Number theory concepts, Decimals, Fractions, Pecentages, Integers, Algebraic linear Equations, Inequalities, Ratios, Proprtions, Rates, Exponents, Scienfic Notation, Functions & Relations.

What is Tested on the IAAT Test?

Pre-Algebraic Number Skills and Concepts: The topics covers are computational skills, understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to solve mathematics problems.
Interpreting Mathematical Information:   The topics covers are questions based upon information presented in graphs or upon definitions of mathematical terms or operations. This section also covers how well a student can learn new material presented in graphs or text.
Representing Relationships: For each of the exercises in this section, the student must find the rule that represents the given numerical relationship. Some of the concepts present the relationship in table form while others present the relationship in verbal form.
Using Symbols: The topics covered here are how well students understand some of the important symbols of algebra and how they are used.
