Academy4Enrichment is pleased to announce the
launch of an Enrichment course for 7th/8th graders
to enrich Math, Verbal & Writing skills that are required for academic excellence and get ready for AOS/TJ entrance exam.
How is each weeks class is organized?
During each session, teachers will review the concepts topic
by topc. Students are also given home work assigments to build on the topics discussed
in the class room. Timed quizes are conducted on the topics discussed in the previous class
to measure the students grasp of the concepts.
What is covered in this Program?
Math: Math topics are aligned mainly to the Pre Algrebra/Number & Opearations, Algebra, Geometry, Probability and Statistics.
Some of the topics included in this program are:
Number Theory, Radicals, Exponents, Percents, Ratio & Proportions, Rate Problems, Factoring, Linear Equations, Inequalities,
Lines & Angles, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Counting, Probability, Statistics, Graphs and Functions.
This program also includes competitional Math problems prepares kids to middles school math
competitions suach as Virginia Math League, AMC8 and Mathcounts
English: Covers multiple levels of Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension Strategies, Grammer/Composition, and Essay Writing skills; Logical Reasoning; Scrambled Paragraphs; and Sentence Completions.
Course Highlights:
- Comprehensive course is offered over the academic year
- 1-1 writing sessions included as part of Program
- Math Homework review session on Tuesday/Wednesday
- Vocabulary review session on Fridays
- Feedback on a regular basis through Web interface
- Total of six PSAT and eight TJ Full Length Practice exams are given
- Taught by experienced and highly qualified High School Teachers
- Class size is limited to 8 students
What is 1-1 Writing Session is about:
- These are dedicated 1-1 writing sessions
- These sessions included as part of AOS/TJ Prep Program
- These are Scheduled sessions for each student with experienced writing teachers
- Teachers will provide a feedback and direction to the child on the essay
- Essays on the exam has a 25% weightage in the admisssin process
Practice Tests:
- Full Length PSAT Practice Tests are given during July/Aug/Sept
- Full Length TJ Practice Tests are given During Sept/Oct/Nov
- All the tests are reviewed with Students
- Student Test Scores are accessible to the parents online with login

- 30 minutes 1-1 essay writing on weekday

- Flexible class schedules on Saturday/Sundays: 9:30-12:30 PM, 12:30-3:30 PM or 3:30 - 6:30PM;
- Cost/Tuition for the entire program is $175 per month
