Academy4Enrichment is pleased to announce the launch of a Math & English Enrichment course for 5^th graders. This Enrichment Course is a wonderful opportunity to enrich Math, Verbal & Writing skills required for academic excellence. This course focuses on helping students to do well in the Iowa Algebra Test (IAAT).

During each session, teachers will review the concepts topic by topc. Students are also given home work assigments to build on the topics discussed in the class room. Timed quized are conducted on the topics discussed in the class to measure the students grasp of the concepts.

Math: Some of the topics included in this program are: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of Integers, fractions, decimals; number concepts, equations, word problems, geometry, measurement, probability, statistics, graphs, functions, logical reasoning, and counting.

English: Covers multiple levels of Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, and different types of Writing skills

This course covers all areas of IAAT Test that consists of 60 items divided evenly into four subtests.

Pre-Algebraic Number Skills and Concepts
The topics covers are computational skills, understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to solve mathematics problems.
Interpreting Mathematical Information
The topics covers are questions based upon information presented in graphs or upon definitions of mathematical terms or operations. This section also covers how well a student can learn new material presented in graphs or text.
Representing Relationships
For each of the exercises in this section, the student must find the rule that represents the given numerical relationship. Some of the concepts present the relationship in table form while others present the relationship in verbal form.
Using Symbols
The topics covered here are how well students understand some of the important symbols of algebra and how they are used.
